to clarify, “they” is ✨society✨ and I will never stop going to work because I really love my job and students need me + my work could never be replaced with AI but universal basic income and redistributing the wealth would be rad and increasing access for all to having their needs met would be fab
what if - hear me out - they know we’re going to eventually revolt as per late stage capitalism and the economy will crumble as people stop going to work so they’re - hear me out - proactively replacing jobs with AI so the costs saved can be redirected to a universal basic income
