i was a tremendous e.t. kid. i was obsessed with it. i had so many e.t. toys & merch. i watched e.t. on tape all the time. at some point i gained more cognitive abilities and was able to comprehend that the first 30 minutes was a fucking horror show.

something i really adore about remedy/control is that they've taken things that would otherwise be seen asvisual glitches and turned them into enemies and set pieces. stretched textures and colliding models would be explicit problems, but control's story gives them such a great out. love them.
