Yes, obviously. That's why we need seperated transport infrastructure for bikes etc, as already built in the Netherlands.

They already are illegal or heavily regulated. The problem is that we don't have adequate infrastructure in this country to separate vulnerable travellers such as cyclists and scooterists from *really* dangerous traffic like cars and lorries, so they try to stay safe with pedestrians.

On Tues @hopenothate.org.uk revealed that Kent police may have ignored a 999 call from the village of Preston. I spent the day there this week, hearing from residents whose village was effectively overrun hopenothate.org.uk/2026/09/07/e...

If he were to be a Russian asset, this would be on the list of ideas to push to destabilise UK and Ireland....

They are the same fuckwits that are permanently angry, never personally responsible, always up for a fight and proudly justify it with tribalism of some sort: football "fans", under-achievers vs any sort of authority, religion, skin colour, accent.

Does he even know that it's not true? He doesn't seem able to distinguish his dreams from reality. And nobody who cares about him (not sure who that would be) is prepared to tell him that he's a deluded idiot, or ill, or both.

A detail missing from The Times story… the woman who took the photo shared it to a Facebook group called ‘South east patriots’.

This is the equivalent of placing sanctions on Russian occupied Crimea, but otherwise carrying on as normal with the rest of Russia.
September 8, 2026 at 10:33 AM
Oh, that's all right then.
September 8, 2026 at 10:31 AM
It's a step in the right direction, but sanctions only on the settlements is weak and easily avoided by shipping goods through Israel. Why aren't we sanctioning Israel? The Israeli government is enabling (and actively encouraging) the settlers, and committing genocide in Gaza.

These thugs were blockading a port. That's serious disruption.

He will say anything for money.
How can anybody can look at him and think "this millionaire will work to represent my interests" when he repeatedly says he'd throw his own parents in the sea?

Amazing, and concerning, that over 30% of HBS male students supported Trump. That suggests it's not raw stupidity driving them... is it racism or greed?
September 2, 2026 at 7:10 AM
Does anybody know more about the "real harm" that (not very) Cleverly accuses the mayor of "inflicting on drivers"? Presumably it's something along the lines of a car owner being persuaded to take an alternative transport option sometimes.

Thank you - it's a very interesting read.

Vapes smell a bit less than something else that smells really bad isn't a very strong argument.

Here in the UK, we're going to just carry on calling farts "trumps" as we have done for centuries.

How about salad with piss dressing?
Or boiled piss if it's the raw part that they've got problems with?

He wouldn't do that with potatoes in case they got bruised.

Can we access it without creating an account?

I really struggle to understand why data centres are "a vital part of the UK economy". They don't exist yet, so it's a choice whether we invest in this dubious new technology or invest in something less polluting, and with greater benefits for our own people.

Can we read this without creating an account? Or is it just annoying click-bait?
