Progress! Next up the optional GPU backend (CPU-first for easier container use), then all the stuff that lets Waybar and stuff work. Not at all settled on the name, and it’s technically a compositor not a pure WM but yolo.

Yeah webtop is pretty cool.
Wayland stuff is new to me. I’ve been experimenting a lot lately with using Claude to push into areas above my head and as it works, slowly gaining some more understanding. Been a lot of fun!

I used to use “write config to enable docker on NixOS” as a fun test for early AI models. Till mid/late last year it seemed like most made up good sounding answers that were always wrong.

Hmmm wonder which node it is…. 🤣
Most spikes weren’t that big, but having some of my logs pushed over too helped confirm.

I’ve been enjoying my Mac as the daily driver while ssh/tmux for development work to a kata container in my homelab cluster running Talos (and Fedora for the dev container)
