A friend of mine recommended Palingenesis with no more context than a link. I was immediately taken by the prose, the way each thought is articulated in twists and turns, rarely voiced outright. Implied. Elegant.

Found a webcomic depicting ace experiences. Wholesome and real, very relatable, and with a wide breadth of characters to represent different aspects of the spectrum. I've been reading a panel here and there for a week and felt seen.

Happily surprised by the Oguri Cap anime. I'd tried once before to get into Umamusume, but the humor landed flat back then. Not here. The series takes itself seriously, with solid character arcs and sports rivalries. Had an amazing time watching our underdog glutton achieve greatness.

The Backwater Swordsman gets a 👍. The slow and deliberate combat was the highlight for me. There're no abstract spikes of speed, or powers, nor any literary surprises. Each soldier plays to their own unique skillset. Battles are decided by anticipation, not plot armor

This one was sold to me as 'everything is sex except sex itself'. It is passion at a cost, sensuality that turns as addicting as it is actualizing. The sensations gradually heighten to a point you constantly need more while at the same time feeling less. Very bittersweet.

Got absolutely demolished by this fic. How does a hound heal away from their handler? The answering machine format left so much room for dread of the unsaid, while leaving plenty for character growth. And that ending! Can't recommend enough.
