As some of you probably know my sister and my bf and I went to see Hamilton last week on the national tour. Of course being superfans we were all into it and we were all singing "our" parts lol - I like to sing Angelica's parts the best but really I can and do sing all the female parts! Anyway I was singing and some Karen tells me SHH and says that her family paid good money to see the show and we were ruining it. I ignored her the first couple times but eventually she made me feel so bad that we just stopped. Anyway we watched the rest of the show and it was amazing, and at the end when they came out to do their bow and wave to the audience, the actor that played Thomas Jefferson \Lafayette held his hand up to quiet the cheering crowd down and he said "now this has never happened before, but i wanted to shout out some amazing members of the audience..." he then pointed to me and they shined a spotlight on me\sister\bf and he said "i have never seen such enthusiam and energy from audience members before, and I love that even though others were trying to dull your shine, you kept right at it, please join us, you were part of tonight's show!" the audience went nuts clapping as we made our way up in shock, and that Kare was PISSED...she grabbed her husband and her daughter and STORMED OUT! We went up and smiled and bowed with the rest of the cast, and after they invited us back to their post-show party The director eventually came up to me and said "but seriously, you can SING, girl! would you be interested in an audition? we don't have any openings in the main cast but you could background chorus and maybe understudy one of the leads" so long story short I wen hamilton and now i'm flying to NY to maybe BE in Hamilton, life comes at your fast lol!
