![Hello Bone Colleagues,
I have invented a new type of ankle and I'm very excited to show it to you. Early raccoon trials suggest a 60% increase in scurrying speed and dramatic increases in fine motor banditry. I know we are not supposed to create super raccoons, but I think you'll change your mind and professional ethics when you see how cute they are. I believe we are on the cusp of a new era in advanced human scurrying because if medical science has taught me anything, it's that improvements in raccoons correspond 1:1 to improvements in humans.

i am thinking again about Asbel's level 2 super in Tales of Graces, which to this day is still the sickest jrpg super animation i've ever seen. and it's so SNAPPY, too, you are in and they're dead and you're back to normal gameplay in just six seconds!! just endlessly impressive work

very good thread about a very good book. FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC: THE PORTAL FANTASY 🥺
hi hello I have been reminded of Sarah Rees Brennan's In Other Lands, which I am about to start rereading, which makes today the perfect day to tell YOU to also read In Other Lands. I shall now enumerate the reasons that In Other Lands is a perfect human book.

Every time I see the name “Tommy Tuberville” I have to remember that he is a US senator and not a character from a 90s Nickelodeon cartoon

Erika Ishii's inclusion is not a "controversial announcement". This is elevating weird gamergaters' boring whining as deserving of attention. There's no "sides" to this, there's no "issue": It's a talented performer who's done nothing wrong being hated for who they are.

The whole Doctrine of Labyrinths series by Katherine Addison. Really great '00s fantasy series for people who like to read about fucking but also like, extremely technical magic systems.
What's a book you love with all your goddamn heart that you believe did NOT get the love and attention it's due?
I'll go first, and it's abso-LUT-ely THE CITY IN GLASS by Nghi Vo. There are moments from that book that live in my blood and wake me from the dark.
