Did this 1000-piece small world puzzle by myself in about ~6 hours over two days because once I start a puzzle I start to obsess over it. Might glue and frame it because it’s so cute. 🥹

Last year, dumped in Liberty State Park.
This year, snug as a bug in a cardboard camper with a belly full of lettuce, hay and treats.
Happy New Year, Ellie. 🥳

Beginning 2026 with a bit of hope by crocheting a stroller/carseat blanket for the child we eventually want to have. I’ve made dozens of blankets on this pattern (usually just 3 colors) since I was 14, but decided it was finally time to make one for us to put away. 🥹

We lost our dear rabbit Heidi last weekend to what we now know was likely chronic kidney disease, but the house felt too empty without her.
Soooooo we adopted more rescue buns because we have space, love, and food to spare! Introducing Poptart, Payday and Elise. 🥰

I made a little investment towards my writing and set up this cozy little desk space feat. my signed Tillie Walden print and a pastel purple iMac 🥹
Looking forward to cozy mornings in this space getting the words out. I cracked my latest WIP open and it feels good to be back. #kidlit #booksky

My book MURRAY OUT OF WATER received a Stonewall Honor. Tonight, after the current admin issued an EO endangering trans and nonbinary kids by limiting their healthcare, it means I have even more of a responsibility to use my voice and continue uplifting fellow trans & nonbinary voices. #kidlitchat

I wrote a book for kids called MURRAY OUT OF WATER that’s about a special kid who loses her ocean magic but discovers the value of queer community on her journey to get it back so she can stand up to her gender essentialist, conservative mom. I’m still fighting and writing for you, kiddos. 💜 #kidlit

Been a couple of fun days of bouldering. Finally feeling more confident on V2s. My goal for 2025 climbing is to just keep feeling strong and brave enough to try new things. #climbingsky

Audiobook 1: YOU JUST NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT AND 19 OTHER MYTHS ABOUT FAT PEOPLE
My partner and I are big maintenance phase fans so I have high hopes this book will help me fight through the usual BS of body-centric New Year’s resolutions.

I want to write more consistently next year but with all the travel I did I ended up reading 180 books. So many wonderful stories by good friends, authors I admire and new authors.
And only one “wtf did I just read” book that I didn’t realize was by a hack who thinks aliens are behind evolution. 😅
