I bring worse news. That poor woman who lives in Piddington & who @vicderbyshire.bsky.social interviewed after that ridiculous election has had her address leaked to Tommy Robinson & the Pink Ladies & she’s been doxxed by both of them.
Wtaf is going on. These people all need to be proscribed now.

We complain about our politicians. But who put them there?

Peter Thurlow argues that cleaning up politics might have to start with the voters.
To clean up politics we have to start with the voters
It’s the voters who put the politicians where they are, so shouldn’t we begin there?

Britain's future relationship with Europe is being debated in Parliament on 12th October. I've just asked my MP to attend. Will you ask yours? www.europeanmovement.co.uk/contact-mp-a...
Ask your MP to stand up for our future in Europe
On 12 October, Parliament will debate the UK's future relationship with Europe, after a government petition got over 100,000 signatures. Will you write to your MP to ask them to attend the debate?

Ed Sheeran got on stage and read from a teleprompter a message that once again conveyed no real emotion, and no actual stance.

I truly hope his career is over. Having no backbone has costs.

When The Beatles faced their Ed Sheeran moment, they said Fuck You Very Much to the idea of playing for a segregated audience...and played for the first desegregated audience in the American south.

Then they wrote a non-segregation clause into their touring contract.

It's called morals, stupid.

KAEPERNICK: The part that I hope people take away in this moment is what Robert Kraft and what they’re saying by denying Macklemore is they are openly colluding.

They also want people to know that if you take an action that they don’t agree with, they will come for you.

Listen, i may not be a football girlie but game theory-wise i will say this: the way Robert Kraft collaborated with other NFL owners to get Macklemore kicked off of Ed Sheeran's tour speaks to why Colin Kaepernick was never given another shot after taking a knee for racial justice.

Me too.
But liar Johnson appointed Tory stooges to deliberately trash the BBC UK'S political news.
In my opinion, licence fee payers deserve better service than 24/7 propaganda, misinformation and racist lies on behalf of tax dodging, non dom billionaires and Farage's rebadged Reform Party.

I have complained. Funny how the two-sidesism only really works one way. If the BBC had featured a pro-immigration proponent with no counter-argument, all hell would be let loose.

Same impression here. The BBC has morphed into a platform for xenophobic bigots and assorted crooks.

Surprisingly, nobody seems particularly interested in investigating what’s behind the change. The Labour gov, meanwhile, appears perfectly comfortable with it as it pursues its Reform Lite agenda.

This shows the problem we have with the media. Ratcliffe’s opinion is only valid to them because he’s very rich. Yet despite him saying Britain is broken it seems to provide him nicely with wealth and a good life in Monaco.
