A mansion in a foggy forest. Title: Familiar, CW: death, body horror. The civet stops in its tracks, lowering its body to the ground as it notices an unfamiliar scent in the air. Road tar and ammonia—the stench is fleeting, black winged bodies streaking through the tree tops and disappearing into the amorphous darkness of the forest. Title: Balcony Sunbird, The B’K Vol. 13, Issue 2, page 22 to 24. CW: illness and death. The upper and lower borders of the image feature a chain of flowers. On each side of the title, there is an olive backed sunbird on a tree branch. Such is the unique craft of an avian artificer working delicate materials with its needle-like beak—from pendulous stalk to the flask shaped structure, all moulded with meticulous care.
