The first book in my favourite sequence of Doctor Who novels in the 90s.
Justin Richards was one of the creators who helped debunk the idea that this era was any kind of 'wilderness' for DW adventure. Rest in peace.

Highlight of the whole series 🤗
Honestly I was shocked at how much seeing Jodie's Doctor last night hit me. I hadn't realised I'd missed her that much.

I held my breath going into Skelton Crew, but by the end of episode 2 I was sold. I particularly enjoyed some of the shot by shot recreations of the speeder chase from ROTJ.

It has an epic cast, but one of the reasons I truly despise this movie is that not one of the characters is likeable in any way. It's like Joss Whedon went out of his way to get us to root for the aliens...
Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Alien Resurrection was released 27 years ago today.
It was the first Alien I was old enough to watch in theaters. This film has always left me unsatisfied, but what a cast! Weaver, Winona Ryder, Ron Perlman, Brad Dourif, Dominique Pinon, Michael Wincott...

On my Saturday morning walk, this has been the best response to Trump's victory I've heard. They encapsulate the pain and confusion the result brought, but without the irritating blame and scapegoating everyone else seems to be indulging in. Properly cathartic.
Our post election live show is now up for everyone. It is a journey through the heart of darkness, but there are laughs along the way. At least I think there were. I can't quite remember. It was all very traumatic.

Fantastic ship. Fantastic movie.
One of my favourite starships - the interior desighn was awesome, too. The Alexei Leonov from '2010: The Year We Make Contact' (1984). Art by Syd Mead. Model by Boss Film Studios/EEG.
