Thanks, David! You took a Dream Factory, threw a bucket of cold water over it, made us wake-up to a world where Warner went the same way as Touchstone Pictures, Hollywood Pictures, Tri-Star, and 20th Century Fox. A label trotted out every blue moon, so we can think wistfully back to happier days.

Aw, no! Seriously!?!

Fenton really wanted to direct. An ex girlfriend of mine worked on a screenplay with him. He really deserved to be more prolific.

My favourites of Fenton's: Memphis Belle, Dangerous Liasions, Fisher King, Anna and the King.

That's a huge shame. RIP.

Oh, no! We had a mutual friend in (Starburst columnist and author) John Brosnan. When John died, Malcolm approached me to compose a piece for his memorial. I couldn't be there, but Malcolm I think read it at either Kensal Green or the French House in Soho.

Malcolm was a lovely, lovely chap. RIP.

Pretty much, yeah.

I hate the grammar of "BBC presenter Louise Botting has sadly died". Have you ever known anyone HAPPILY die?

"BBC presenter Louise Botting has, sadly, died".

or

"Sadly, BBC presenter Louise Botting has died".

As a public obituary, "died" would be enough.

"Her twin sister made it a Coochie Coochie coup..."

(I say that, but I've got your prints. You're just too damned good.)

The real art, Duncan. Life's too short for prints! :)

Let me guess...did Starlink provide "free election machinery"?

I'll nudge you to remind me.

Desperation.

How big is the actual Greedo in the blister? It'd be worth it just for a teeny-tiny Greedo.

And he should keep doing that. Because in years to come, nobody will give a crap about turning the channel to watch "Days Of Thunder 2". But "Digger" will still be playing at late night art houses.

Hey! I'll take 'em!

I ask: what reasonable person hasn't ever wanted an electronic bidet and manta-ray skin table?

Hassett and Mike Johnson replacing the two assassins in "Diamonds Are Forever".

Mr. Hassett
(to Mr. Johnson)
They're both aboard. I must say Miss
Harp seems quite attractive.
(a beat)
For a lady.

Johnson glares at Hassett.

Mr. Hassett
Heh-heh-heh-heh!

"Kevin, I have to interrupt you. It's been confirmed the President had what is called "The Code Biscuit" brought to him, and our affiliate in Promontory Utah reports Sentinel Missile silo hatches are opening?"

"Oh, well. Ha-ha! Economic growth, that continues to rise! I'm still optimistic!"
