Why we don’t “just get AC” in Central Europe:
- we’ve never had TWO WHOLE WEEKS of 30+ degrees as far as I can remember
- the actual useful ACs are unaffordable for average people
- our landlords won’t allow us to install them
- the mobile ones don’t work with our windows
- some of us are lucky

I personally love a hot summer (go hate me) but here is my rule: unless you have to stay in a room right under the roof with no AC and deal with temperatures twice as high as what you’re used to? You don’t get to make fun of people struggling with the heat just because you don’t.

Is it just me or are bikini pants always way too small?? It doesn’t matter what size you go for, it’s always just too thin on the bottom. Like excuse me I ain’t a plastic doll and unlike Barbie I have things to cover down there?

Men when I was 18: “it’s disgusting when women have hair down there, they’re supposed to shave!” …but of course their own hair is never “disgusting”

I found out they have things like “German casserole”, “German pancakes” and “German chocolate cake” in the US and it’s all things that no German in Germany even knows or has ever heard about but I want to try it now

1. What about queer people?? Bi people have no friends or what?
2. Most normal people have more than just one friend of another gender. Are we supposed to be attracted to all?!

Hot take - yes you can still approach a woman offline these days but you have to do it right and that’s not easy. Many of us go into alert mode because we all had experiences with creepy approaches. But I also experienced some approaches from men that were completely okay to me, even if I said no:

It’s a survey on how reliable Germans consider some countries as partners (France, UK, Ukraine, USA, Russia) and I saw some Americans get REALLY mad at this, all just screaming WW2 at us because obviously they have nothing to say that relates to the current state of things 🙃

Ok I have to go back to Paris and visit other places in France too but how do I now keep learning Spanish while simultaneously relearning French

I think the reason you think people in Paris are rude is because YOU are being rude. There are people who enter a bakery or restaurant without even saying « Bonjour » and start shouting at them in English, and then wonder why the French react by being pissed off 💀 anyone would be annoyed by that

Can confirm that Paris is very beautiful and discovered that my school French is still at least good enough to understand quite a lot
