Well, well, well - if it isn’t the consequences of our own actions.

It would appear that migrants are not, in fact, the fiscal drain we’ve been told they are by years if we go by the £4bn to £6.5bn shortfall that’s been caused by the precipitous drop in numbers under this government.

Funny that.

After years of hype, and trillions of dollars, the AI boom will leave us with a captured economy, a corrupted democracy, and a devastated environment.

We can't let them get away with it. substack.com/home/post/p-...

For no reason I'm remembering the bit in Going Postal where Reacher Gilt, faced with declining sales because of the re-opened Post Office, makes outlandish claims for what the Clacks will soon be able to do, knowing he can't actually do it. Cause that doesn't matter.

For no reason.

This is the Amnesty International report on the anti-rights groups.

These anti-rights groups have immediately engaged in lawfare to bury this report.

*be a shame if people kept sharing it.

The literature on harms to kids from online platforms is complex and nuanced, rife with people citing small, ambiguous studies as iron-clad evidence that kids are being destroyed by the internet:

The sun is *most intense* then, that’s the time of day you’re most at risk of sunburn. The hottest part of the day is usually between 4-6. Thinking you’re safer at 5 is daft.

Probably because Doctors have to double check their AI BS which is always wrong.

No-one in the government had heard of Bluesky before today, had they?
BREAKING: The UK Government confirms that Bluesky will be INCLUDED in the ban on social media for under 16s.

The government said it will be BANNED because it is a “user-to-user platform who purpose is to enable social interaction.”
