In my heart it will always be mid-October, right after The Big Fresno Fair. There is usually one or two last 95-100 degree days during it, but after we can officially wind down AC use.

Those last 2 outs were just hard to watch. Having a bunch of guys who will swing at EVERYTHING or just cant catch up to heat is a recipe for LOB.

My 1st favorite baseball player was Eric Fox at Fresno State. He is also the 1st (of many) examples I had of "what might have been". If he hadn't torn up his knees his career would have been so different. But he also probably wouldn't have been with the A's. So +/-...
Where were you 34 years ago? I was in Minneapolis covering this series with the A’s and Twins . After a blowout win in Game 1, the A’s Came back in the final 2 games capped by the Eric Fox 3-run HR in the 9th in the final game to over take Twins for 1st in AL West . (1/2)
