I've mentioned this before but I saw a guy have a complete meltdown in a noise rock group I was in on facebook because someone made a passing mention of watching a Dodgers game. It was very much like the meltdowns normie libs on here have about pro wrestling.

There was this drone/noise album a few years ago that someone I followed at the old place described as "sounds for wandering around a Rust Belt city looking for a bathroom" or something to that effect and I cannot remember who did it or what the title was and it's driving me insane

Just days after Paul Schrader revealed that he plans to make his long-gestating crime noir “Three Guns At Dawn” entirely with AI-generated performers, the filmmaker has explained why he abandoned human actors in the first place. According to Schrader, Black actors rejected the original version because all three of its Black protagonists were criminals. His solution? Make the movie without them.
Schrader has spent the past week gradually clarifying his plans for “Three Guns At Dawn.” As The Playlist previously reported, the filmmaker originally conceived the South Central Los Angeles noir around three Black brothers—a corrupt cop, a drug trafficker, and a third criminal—with Antoine Fuqua attached to produce.

Just want to state for the record that Ridley Scott directed Alien and is therefore exempt from criticism of his filmography. The Duelists and Blade Runner are just bonuses. He could have made nothing but snuff films in the Cambodian jungle afterward and this would still be the case.

I have an unpopular opinion that has never not felt justified. Subtitles for foreign language films are bad. If I wanted to read, I would read. I watch a movie to Observe the Image.
Purists claim dubs ruin the intended effect as if it's preferable to spend 2 hours looking at 10% of the screen.
