I haven't shared this in a long time. I was a senior at UNC on 9/11/01. My first class of the day was a 9:30am and no one in that class new what had happened. Just a completely normal lecture day. It wasn't until my next class that I knew something was wrong. (1)

These are the consequences of these kinds of reactionary laws. They're not protecting access to scholarships. They're ensuring fewer scholarship funds are available.
