Save the whales, save the world.
It's wild that criticizing a government committing genocide can get you professionally blank listed. Not unfounded in human history, but still wild.

I've always thought that people in leadership positions should be people who don't want the power, but it took like three weeks of captaining a rec soccer team, somewhat against my will, to welcome the sweet relief of a coup or mutiny.

"Did the driver mistake me for a woman and Matt's bag for a pizza box? If so, I'm the woman and Matt's bag is a pizza box" - unhelpful responses I've provided to friends missing a bag and in genuine distress.

I don't know if there's a television in Phillie that's going to survive this game without getting smashed, but that TD saved a few thousand for the moment.

I very much thought the Avatar movie coming out this year was the second one, not the third. It's wild how big these movies are, yet still feel like they're under the radar.

One of my favorite things about Peacemaker is that every character is dork, but also hot, and it's just a fun reminder that we're all hot dorks walking around this planet.

I had never ridden my bike to a wedding before tonight. Definitely a 9/10. -.5 for all the annoying people that asked me why I'd ride my bike in the cold rain and -.5 for riding my bike in the cold rain.

Now that Millennials are in their 30's and 40's, I think it's time to have Andy Milonakis in a BMW commercial.

Presidents? SCOTUS gives them immunity.

Corporations? SCOTUS makes it easier for them to pollute.

Billionaires? SCOTUS says they can buy elections.

But if you look Latino, speak Spanish, or work at a low wage job, SCOTUS says you can be abducted by masked agents.

The legacy of the Roberts court.

When Apple can decide what you see on your phone, it’s easy for a lawless gov’t to collude with them to silence speech and target the organizers that dare to fight back.

I'm kind of bummed that old timey medicine was a bunch of BS. It'd be pretty neat if whenever you were sick, you'd go to the alchemist (who'd be drunk of whiskey), get a small bottle of opium and cocaine, a couple electrical shocks to the temple, and boom, you wake to good as new the next day.

Sometimes, I think I'm being mad funny in a group chat, but nobody is finding me funny, and I have to figure out if my friends don't know comedy or I'm just going through a minor manic episode. Or both.

Weapons is such a great flick all around that I'm shocked reading about the issues it had during production, especially with casting. The new cast absolutely nailed it, I can't imagine any character being replaced with other actors.
