I used to interview people about their town (don’t ask why) & they’d say “we have *a lot* of history here.” But then it was “Joe (Name of Town) founded the town and then someone started a store and then a bar. That’s just the bare minimum of history. They should have at least started with the sea!

This would be awesome even if it were more traditionally “female” skills. Like if he boiled some water or bought a box of tampax and everyone was like “whoa dude, how did you do that?”

I hate to be the naysayer, but buy nothing groups can still be a pain. People say they want something - don’t show up for days, sporadically check in, continually no show, lots more messages. It’s still harder than it seems like it should be.

Absolutely, this enraged me at the time - adults in my town eating at restaurants maskless with friends - which was against the guidelines - and then mocking people for not wanting schools to open when the disease was running rampant. I wanted the schools open too! So I tried to stop the spread!

Especially interesting when these same people seem to be all worked up about the declining birth rate!

While it’s a long shot, KY currently have a senate race going on right now and I don’t love the sitting Democratic governor mocking the idea that the democratic candidate could win. Is it likely? No. But is it helpful to point that out? Also no.

I mean really just is just their whole schtick about a lot of things… they want to be racist but not be considered racist and homophobic but not be consider homophobic and be sexist but not be considered sexist. I don’t know if I’ve made this clear, but they really annoy me. 😂

Yes, I mean we all have to make our peace with art and imperfect artists and they are welcome to do it in whatever way they see fit really, but they really seem to want to have it both ways. To be vocally hateful - but also get credit for being true fans.

I don’t know why it’s started bothering me more lately but there smug attitude - they are like really any true fan would hate his guts.
