When you see a story about a problem, where is the organizing, ask who is doing the organizing, is the story covering the organizing? Ask where the most vulnerable are in that organizing. Ask if their leadership and struggle are mentioned at all. Ask what work that story is doing for the organizing.

The people who were killed by these systemic attacks and systemic failures were the ones who were doing radical things like organizing poor communities to fight for resources instead of waiting for noblesse oblige and hand me downs from the upper middle class and the political class
