@wachelreeks.com Your decks are so frickin’ cool! My goal for every deck I build is for it to feel as good as when I play one of your decks. To that end, would you ever make a CZ video showing your full thought process of building a deck? I’d LOVE to hear your thought process from start to finish!

At risk of sounding like flattery, I genuinely am curious how @wachelreeks.com has gotten so good at building decks. I’ve built her Sisay, Toph, and Mangara decks, and they feel dynamic, strong, and SO unique! I’d love to hear her process of building a deck top to bottom. (-:

Last night I had my first experience playing Commander at an LGS… holy crap. I’d taken for granted how much playing with my normal pod had led to appropriate power balancing. I have new, healthy respect for the Bracket System!

@wachelreeks.com @josephmschultz.bsky.social: I’ve been building Commander decks for each color combo - any suggestions for something fun with Abzan? Hobbits felt too much like other go-wide strategies, and Dame Mixalot (Felothar) didn’t really click, sadly. Any out there with unique play patterns?

@wachelreeks.com Your Mono-White Good Stuff deck is one of my favorites! I’m always pleasantly surprised by how different games play out based on which cards I draw. I’m assuming you’ve considered these, so I’m curious on your thoughts: What do you think about Ocelot Pride and Abandoned Air Temple?

This may be one of the only times I post about sports ball ever, but as a born-and-raised Seattlite who loves a joke with poetry, this was too good not to share. 🤣

Just put in some new floating shelves for my #Commander decks! About a year ago I got back into #magicthegathering, and now I’m determined to build fun commander decks in each color combo. I’ve got 14 rockstars, 10 that need playtesting, and 8 to discover!

…I can stop anytime I want.

(I can’t.)

Hey @wachelreeks.com, @jordanpigeon.bsky.social, and @josephmschultz.bsky.social!

QQ: Is Fire Navy Trebuchet an underrated gem (<1% inclusion on @edhrec.com)? It’s no Bitterblossom, but it seems like it’d be a total unit for token, Mobilize, and Aristocrat decks. What are y’all’s thoughts? Thanks!

Hey @wachelreeks.com! Do you have any tips for how to effectively add a “secret commander” to a deck? Is it just a matter of adding tutors? Real talk: the idea of making Gruul Toph a secret commander within a Hearthhull deck is stuck in my head, but maybe that’s just too unreliable of a strategy?

Hey @wachelreeks.com! I’ve been trying to figure out a “Toph, Hardheaded Teacher” deck and saw your “Who Needs Metalbending?” list. I didn’t see much Mass Disruption (any?) and only a bit of Targeted Disruption - does the deck just not need that much disruption? Or is that still “in progress”?

What were your first four commander decks?

Writing this list has made me realize how much 90s Magic nostalgia influenced my choices: Squirrels, Thopters, Big Dudes (they were green back in the day), and well, Cloud from FF7.
