It's definitely not one of the best Weezer albums, but from that era Ratitude and Death to False Metal are much much worse, Red Album is only good for five first songs of the album, Make Believe completely lacks any Weezer charm, and Green Album bores me despite its popularity. Hurley is solid!

What the hell I'm 7 tracks in and I'm kind of loving it. I truly ignored it for over a decade just due to the album title and the album cover.
It's not particularly amazing, but it manages to have that exact late 2000s sound and vibe that matches my most formative teenage years.

It simultaneously made me interested in reading other books in the series so that I could learn more about the genuinely interesting universe they portray, but at the same time I became uninterested in actually reading another story in the series.

And some of the key moments in the book were genuinely really cool.
But on the other hand the story itself didn't really capture my interest as well, the characters were really forgettable, and some of the constant technobabble worldbuilding felt incredibly tedious to read through.

The new upcoming one seems cool and I would be happy to try it eventually, but not at a full price any time soon. I liked 7 but I think I would have been a little disappointed by it if I had paid the full price for it.

I'm glad I played it, but I have to admit I'm not in a hurry to play other Ace Combat games anytime soon. I had my fill of cool accessible flight simulator combat stuff.

One of the nice benefits of long distance running regularly is that you get to eat so many extra calories and fill yourself with carbs without any guilt. Instead of eating too much, it's suddenly called "fueling" 😌

I did genuinely like the story the Diablo 4 base game and the two expansions told though, and I'm glad they are presumably not forcibly continuing it with expansions anymore. One more expansion would no doubt feel incredibly rushed with its story, and more would feel like far too many expansions.
