Du cyclisme pour le peuple!
I personally do not think of the green jersey as the best sprinter jersey. So I like that someone exceptionally dominant in the sprints is not guaranteed to win it

First pro win today, second pro win tomorrow!

The camera work that day was sublime

The silver medal in Paris was a red herring. Together with his long time friend and teammate Gaudu, they've been on the decline, partly due to GFDJ's lack of budget and thus slow increase in performances, but also a personal gap in racing intelligence.

He's feeling the adrenaline, judging from his time at T1!

I think the slot won't change as long as summer holidays are in July-August in France. The Tour is then because of that. It requires a broader cultural shift, guaranteeing similar viewership figures

And Agnès Varda's film about the painting!

I was hiking there just three weeks ago. Truly spectacular. Hope the helicopter does the job today

Skjelmose? Low-key Vauquelin knowing his DS

And lol, forget about Berthet

...this article in Le Monde from 2009 is worth a read on his unusual route to the pro peloton, and tangentially why the peloton in France doesn't reflect the whole population www.lemonde.fr/sport/articl... (🇫🇷)

One man is responsible: Laurent Wauquiez

bsky.app/profile/moll...
For people outside of France who might not know him, Wauquiez is the former president of the auvergne rhone alpes region, notable right wing scumbag elite, who spent his years putting the region's branding on everything so everyone knew what he was doing, giving these kind of things.
