My handsome neighbor came over to hang out with me. We stayed just inside the snow line and watched the neighborhood kids play in the snow.

My stepDad used to make a big pot of beef/bean chili in the slow cooker when I was a kid

One of my fondest memories was sneaking a bowl of in progress chili in the middle of the night. it was safe, but the veggies were still crisp

I haven’t sent out a ton of queries yet, BUT I sent out a query last night and right before I hit send i found a very small typo that has been missed through 4 revisions, 2 beta reads, 2 CP reads and multiple edits 🫣🫣.
