Kids need science museums. Also, grown ups need science museums. It’s a lot easier to learn how to see if you have someone to show you.

It's done! It's a banana slug bag! I love it so much. It was so fun to start this project by weaving the strap.

I dyed the fabric and yarn, wove the strap, and hand stitched the front details.

A couple years back I was searching for Tim Curry Muppet Treasure Island scenes on YouTube to show my kids, and instead stumbled on a video of him as the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance.

It really captures his incredible vocal abilities, physicality and comic timing.
