I was always just myself and was told that I was a boy, so what the hell was I supposed to do? Learning what nonbinary meant and having way too much time to think during covid got me to "crack" and figure out I was always me, but not always trans!

Some of us just thought that we were too hurt by a difficult life to find real happiness, and that hating yourself was a normal part of surviving. In repression, unvoiced dysphoria looks like inadequacy and trauma.

happy pride month shout out to my aro/ace friends. their plight is the same as anyone else in the LGBTQ+ spectrum; understanding and acceptance of their existence, and we are stronger by fighting that fight together. by far some of the kindest, sharpest, most vibrant people i know.
