AI agents are allowing companies to surpass limited liability protections and erase liability altogether.
“It wasn't me that hacked my competitor, it was an AI agent, it has a mind of its own.”
It's a technologically augmented Shaggy defence: “it wasn't me”.
Hopefully legislation can catch up.
