Recently I found a rain-stained, love-sick poem I wrote in a Haiti treehouse.

This great feature by @falenciajfwrites.bsky.social took me back to post-earthquake Haiti.

The poem is now a story about comeuppance for tradition and commerce meddling, due out in @wallstrait.bsky.social next month.
