The world has exactly one path available to make the rapid changes that the climate crisis requires, and that path is sun, wind, and batteries. They are available right now, in scale, at affordable price.

Or just build data centers that produce a surplus of renewable energy, don't drain the public water supply and don't pollute the environment. They have more than enough capital to build these responsibly and set a new standard for the industry. They just are choosing not to.
Tech oligarchs could really set the example for the common folk by simply building their mansions right next to their data centers and then live in them with their families.

I’m watching a documentary on World War II. The Nazi higher-ups were still praising Hitler’s genius while the Russians were only 12 miles from the city center of Berlin.

Just like the Republicans still loyal to Trump as the party goes under.

Todd Blanche: “I am not sure of the uproar of having a Border Patrol or ICE agent at a polling location. What's the risk?”

Uhm, maybe because it’s illegal?

Federal statute 18 U.S.C. § 592 prohibits deploying “troops or armed men” to locations where elections are held.

An AG should know this.

God already built a wall through Big Bend — it's called the Chisos Mountains.

We don't need to give billions of our tax dollars to out of state vendors.

We don't need to desecrate this sacred land.

We don't need this useless, disgraceful, corrupt Big Bend border wall.

Solar surpasses 3 TW nameplate worldwide.

Wind is >1.3 TW. Together, they make up 4.3 TW.

For comparison, US average demand is 0.47 TW, so W+S can now meet a peak of 9x US power demand or, over a year, 2x US electric energy demand.

I guess we can see Trump's speech last night as the ultimate proof there was nothing wrong with the 2020 election he lost. He has all the resources of the FBI, the Justice Department, and the intelligence agencies, and Trump couldn't find anything.
