We were in Kensington Market yesterday to watch the Canada soccer win!
Also: if you’re not from Toronto, yesterday was first visit to Kensington & you've been to other major cities, you would find it both insane & unfathomable that pedestrianization only happens one Sunday a month & not every day!

I think of these beautiful, simply designed retractable bollards every time someone brings up issues with pedestrianisation in Toronto. It's really this easy.

Seriously, the solution to "crowd management" is pedestrianization more often, in more places, and for longer. Instead, transportation services just used "risks associated with high attendance" as a reason to not support Church St. pedestrianization. There is so much rot at city hall.
