Stuart McCloskey just always involved. Incredible tournament from that man #IREvSCO

This game is incredible #IREvSCO

If only there was a person whose job it was to motivate, organise and set up the team.

Almost like someone who was managing the players…
Liverpool need a kick up the arse. Not figuratively.
A literal Bishop Brennan boot for each and every one of them.

Stuart McCloskey. Again. #ENGvIRE

If someone could clip up a Big Stu highlight reel after this match, I’d really appreciate it. #ENGvIRE

Baloucoune is having a stormer (again). So pleased for him to finally get his chance to show his class.

Stu McCloskey is just class.

That call on O’Brien is absolutely shocking. I thought we wanted contestable kicks in rugby?

I’m not 100% convinced Farrell will still be in charge of Ireland come the next World Cup.

Italy are a fantastic team that keeps getting better, so I’m not trying to take anything away from them… but I just don’t see the plan with Ireland right now, and that’s the worrying thing.

Yeah I think I’ve had enough of James Ryan, to be honest. Get him out of the Ireland squad, dirty player.
February 5, 2026 at 9:55 PM
Ireland’s tactical approach to this game has been baffling, to be honest.

Prendergast is putting us in some tough situations with his decision making. He needs to show way more composure. #FRAvIRE
February 5, 2026 at 8:52 PM
I think I’m over Farrell at this point.
Paddy McCarthy gets his first start for Ireland.

Sam Prendergast in at 10.

Mack Hansen back from injury, first Test start at fullback.

Caelan Doris moves to openside.

Stuart McCloskey back at 12.

Cian Prendergast and Nick Timoney on the bench.

Have a lot of time for Mo Salah not even bothering to turn up for the Ballon D’Or last night.

He will go down as one of the top 2 or 3 PL players ever, and his legacy will only grow with time. Those who don’t appreciate him now, will when he’s no longer playing.

One thing that bothers me tonight in particular is how so much of this is happening because of grand and sweeping capitulation by the media, by companies, by Congress, by people in power. Even when they don’t have to — they simply comply, acquiesce, and appease.

Between Rees-Mogg deciding that a PM change should trigger a general election, to MAGA supporters deciding cancel culture is good and free speech bad… I’m starting to think right wingers are a tad hypocritical.

No actual principles - just ‘we do what we want… and you do what we want, too’

RIP Brian Wilson. The term ‘genius’ is often thrown around too easily, but I’m not sure it goes far enough to describe him and what he brought to music.

This. 100% this.
European armies have to move into Ukraine and secure the territory. It will give Ukrainians not only the cover for defending themselves, but also give an unprecedented morale boost.

Dan Sheehan giving a double miss pass then taking the offload for the Try. Special player #IREvENG

I’m not too worried about Liverpool or their form - but I would really like to see Slot pick the U21s on Saturday.
Give the lads a rest, and going out in the 3rd round of the FA Cup wouldn’t be the worst thing for our season. #LFC

Ben Folds and Jeremy Irons should get together and start a dry cleaning business.

They could call it Ben and Jerry's.
