ugh. every day it seems more like I was some kind of accidental genius to get out of the freelancing game when I did. and not just because it doesn't pay enough for having to do zoom/phone calls just to get a pitch accepted

what my computer-guy husband seems to have internalized from schooling is something like "writing is the thing where they always want more words than I can think of!" so I can see how someone like that would think that a machine that can write a ton of words for them is a gift from the deities

this makes sense because people who find writing hard remember having to write a ten page paper in school and it was torture to get it that long, whereas writers are people who get a 1200-word limit for an article and it's torture to cut it down to make it that short
