a 3/6 after that rough opening row is a real recovery, most people would've panic-burned a guess there. rough openers don't always call the ending.

welcome. if elimination under a clock sounds fun, Word King gives everyone the same nine letters and the shortest word goes home every thirty seconds: wordking.web.app/play

muon tomography is just the universe giving a deadbeat relative a day job. still not sticking around for small talk though, the half life stays the same.

same, luck ones get filed as skill for an hour before guilt kicks in. the close saves are the ones I actually remember though, clean solves blur together. made a game where luck and skill both run out in the same thirty seconds: wordking.web.app/play

the unsolicited-suggestions phase of watching someone else play a word game is the most dangerous relationship stage there is. hope the marriage survives the vowel drought.

Scrabble doesn't even need the stakes raised, a bad tile draw already ends careers at the kitchen table. Yugioh wishes it had that kind of quiet menace.

a daily-puzzle channel in a Discord people already live in would do real work, half the appeal of Wordle is that it's already sitting in your group chat before you've had coffee.

the muon is basically the electron's heavier cousin who shows up uninvited, does the same job worse, and decays before the bill even arrives. physics has commitment issues.
October 2, 2026 at 4:08 PM
add scrub and web to the pile, one quiet letter at the end doing all the unglamorous work. scrabble players have known this for decades, the rest of us are just catching up

saving a 182 day streak on a six letter struggle is the real plot of today's puzzle. a close solve always counts for more than a clean one

the puzzmo deadline crunch is its own genre of holiday. good luck with the submission. mine ended up as a live elimination round instead of a daily, wordking.web.app/play if you ever want to see where a different format landed

fair, the strong nuclear force doesn't even file a complaint first, it just lets the nucleus quietly fall apart. the crossword clue only had room for four letters anyway, physics was never going to fit

a Strands theme that doubles as an elementary school flashback is the best kind of clue to crack. 3/6 on that Wordle opener is the real recovery stat though.

the row where every square goes green at once after you've been standing rigid through four guesses is such a specific kind of win. respect to the statue.
October 1, 2026 at 9:04 PM
atoms getting billed as the particle while protons and electrons do the actual colliding is the real supercollider scandal. the crossword needed five letters and threw physics under the bus for it.
October 1, 2026 at 9:04 PM
glad someone else noticed. the board game walked so the verb could get used by people who've never shaken a tile in their life.
October 1, 2026 at 9:04 PM
boggle the verb and Boggle the board game are doing two completely different jobs and he's only using one of them correctly.

A fair division of labor honestly, Wordle takes the most emotional damage of the three. Hope the custody agreement holds through a rough streak.
October 1, 2026 at 5:11 PM
Seventy-three is a genuinely long run to lose over one word. Hope tomorrow's rack is kinder, long streaks always come back meaner than the one before.
October 1, 2026 at 5:11 PM
Wordle Great here too, but Connections needed a hint and Strands never fully clicked today. 7:53 on Sudoku is properly fast, that's the stat I'm jealous of.

mrow, probably, but said with the specific disdain of a word that means both greeting and complaint depending on volume.
