If you're unsure the shooting at the WHCD dinner was fake & staged, go recheck the faces of Congress members during the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol: you see shock, fear & horror, an unstaged, spontaneous reaction. Instead, last night cabinet were laughing afterwards. Totally fake. They all knew.

Local TV leads its Iran coverage by saying the "deal" includes "reopening" the Strait of Hormuz, but then adds that Iran will manage the Strait and charge fees. So, the Strait is *less* accessible than before the war. Media outlets don't need to accept the administration's framing of this ceasefire.

So true, even using AI for research is dangerous because you can't know if it's hallucinating the data, and the only way to be sure is to double check everything, in which case, why bother? You might as well do the research yourself. AI's destiny is to make videos of cats playing banjos.
Two years ago I had my agents ask authors seeking blurbs if they had used LLMs in the writing or research for their novels. If yes, then I won’t read their books. I know I could be lied to. If I am lied to, I will LOUDLY retract my endorsement. I hope more writers might adopt a similar policy.

Quite true, and it's done in other countries, for instance in Germany there are labor representatives on corporate boards. That's one reason Germany didn't go so far in oursourcing jobs to China.
