Every country had Covid.

Every country faced inflation.

Britain added Brexit.

UBS says we’ve suffered the biggest fall in household wealth of any of the 37 rich countries it surveyed since 2020.

Five years on, the economic verdict is becoming impossible to ignore.

Brexit made Britain poorer.

How do people think Kemi Badenoch is doing?

Twenty former Tory MPs have now defected to Reform UK along with 100s of Councillors.

But there seems an awful lot of dross left.

£90m of public money to demolish 400 homes and build just 230 in Blackpool - a net loss of 170 homes.

That’s £529k per home lost, or £390k per new home in a town where the average house costs £150k.

A huge waste from the last government’s levelling up agenda.
