I love that George loved Rogue One.
❤️
Article text: Tony Gilroy, the creator/writer of the Disney Andor series, has revealed a 45-minute conversation with George Lucas after Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was released, stating "It was like a call from the president". "George Lucas called me after Rogue, I had a 45-minute conversation with him after he saw Rogue, and that's the only time I've ever spoken to him. He loved it. He really did. He had a lot of things to say that I... It was like a call from the president," Gilroy shared.

I really hope Andor season 2 is amazing because it’s pretty much the only thing I’m looking forward to in 2025.

We’re one day closer to season two of Andor
Gif of Cassian Andor wearing a long brown coat. There’s chains in the background. Cassian is saying “You just walk in like you belong.”

“I’d rather die trying to take them down than die giving them what they want.” Re-watching #Andor for the article I’m finishing on STAR WARS and fascism.

This is a bombad overview of the politics of the prequels, in and out of universe. Highly recommended watch, especially for those fond of denying that SW has always been influenced by contemporary politics.
