Yesterday's news about Jacob Geller broke my heart, so much that I couldn't stop dwelling on it all day. In an effort to make sense of this horrific news and my admittedly complicated feelings about it, here is my article on the Jacob Geller situation:

What Do We Do With Jacob Geller? - Epilogue Gaming
Earlier this week, a friend noticed Jacob Geller’s book, How A Game Lives, sitting amongst my living room shelves. Under almost any other circumstances, this would have been an exciting invitation for...

There are bigger receivers.

There are more athletic receivers.

There are flashier receivers.

There is no one better at being a receiver than Larry Fitzgerald and Jerry Rice.

Best I've ever had the pleasure to watch.

Look, fuck the billionaire class doing this bullshit of foisting funding of stadium deals on to tax payers and threatening to leave if they aren't catered to.

But also, fuck The Bears!!! 😂
Kevin Warren took the Big Ten to California and is close to taking the Chicago Bears to Indiana.

This Josh Jacobs stuff is upsetting and disturbing.
There are still a lot of details we don't know, but the charges themselves are pretty damning. I don't care who he is. If he did that shit, cut him.

Josh Jacobs arrested, booked on five charges
The Green Bay Packers were hit with troubling news Tuesday as running back Josh Jacobs was arrested in Brown County following an investigation into a disturbance complaint from May 23. According to booking information, Jacobs faces five charges: battery/domestic abuse, criminal damage to property/domestic abuse, disorderly conduct/domestic abuse, strangulation and suffocation, and intimidation of a victim. At this stage, the details surrounding the incident remain limited, and it’s important to note that charges are allegations, not convictions. The legal process will now play out, with more information likely to emerge in the coming days. For the Packers, the timing is obviously significant. Jacobs was expected to be a central figure in Green Bay’s offense this season after establishing himself as a key component of Matt LaFleur’s attack. Any potential absence, whether due to legal proceedings or possible league discipline under the NFL’s personal conduct policy, would create significant questions about the Packers’ backfield heading into the summer. Beyond the football implications, the nature of the allegations is serious. Domestic violence-related charges demand careful attention and should not be minimized in the rush to assess roster impact. Jacobs' attorney released a statement reading: “Josh vehemently denies the allegations, and this matter is in the early stages of investigation with important evidence that has not yet been made public. We ask for fairness and restraint while the judicial process takes its course.” The Packers have not yet publicly commented on the arrest. As more verified details become available, the organization, the league, and the public will be watching closely. Trump's attack on vote by mail isn't about integrity—quite the opposite. He knows vote by mail protects against all the well-known Election Day voter suppression tactics.

This is all part of his effort to rig the upcoming November election. We can’t let him succeed.

I genuinely wonder how it's going to age in the Zeitgeist that Sinners didn't win Best Picture and that Chalamet didn't win Best Actor.

Jessie Buckley is unimpeachable in Hamnet.

I'm happy for all the film bros who loved One Battle After Another, but it's hard to articulate how much more I liked Sinners.

I was levitating, leaving the theater. And I'm not a horror/monster movie guy (not opposed either, just not my thing)

I legit have no idea how to feel about this other than we are targeting D line in the draft now.
The newest addition to the Packers defense: Zaire Franklin, who led the NFL with 173 tackles and made the Pro Bowl in 2024.

The Colts get Franklin’s more than $7 million salary off the books and add Colby Wooden, who started 16 games for Green Bay last season.

A former ICE advisor, concludes the new guidance "would cover essentially anyone they want to arrest without a warrant, making the general premise of ever getting a warrant pointless."

You could actually structure your moral code around the idea that law enforcement doesn't exist to execute people. You don't have to create perfect victim narratives, you can just refuse to accept that the state gets to kill people.

People already working hard to prove how perfect Alex Pretti was. To show he didn't "deserve" to be killed. But it's a trap folks. You're only feeding into a dynamic where people who are considered lesser get no protection. You don't have to be an Alex Pretti to deserve to live.
