I reviewed Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, and I’m happy to say it’s quite an amazing and ambitious tactical experience. Over a hundred hours spent and I still have so much more to see in its wonderfully diverse story paths.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave provides an excellent pairing of combat strategy and management, with compelling stories spread across each of its four heroes that come together to form one phenomenal RPG.

My best advice to parents who are fine with their kids on a phone or tablet: subscribe to Apple Arcade, Netflix or Crunchyroll Game Vault, or get an Amazon Fire tablet and subscribe to Amazon Kids+. You still have to monitor which games they download but they'll have no ads and no microtransactions.

Welp. Starting in November, I will no longer be employed by IGN. It's been a hell of a ride and I cannot understate how much of an honor and a privilege the last 11+ years have been. This was a dream job, but the best part of IGN is, was, and always will be the people.

I'll even take this one further: I never would have been a regular cast member on NVC if Brian Altano had not quietly, with 0 fanfare, stepped back to make room for me, and if Seth had not repeatedly adjusted the recording schedule to ensure I could be there. I will *never* forget that.
They willingly gave up spots on camera for others. They used their clout internally to push for women in particular to be on camera next to them, benefitting from their notoriety. They rightfully bullied the shit out of people who said nasty, bigoted things in the comments. (3/x)
