Since 2/28/26, Trump's war in Iran has cost American households $106B, $811 per household, in gas (up 45%) and diesel (up 70%) prices.

That doesn't include the cost of military operations or lost assets, future retribution (inc terrorism) against US, or, most importantly, lives lost or shattered.

It’s time to lower the damn diesel.

Diesel just hit the highest price ever recorded in America — more than $6 a gallon –– up from $3.71 last year

Farmers, truckers, shrimpers, small businesses, and families need relief now — not more excuses from Washington. Suspend the diesel tax.

Long-term interest rates, which reflect both current inflationnand inflarion expectations, jumped with tariffs and then again with the Iran war. This is not a debate among economists: inflation is up and it's Trump's fault.
Trump denies surging inflation is his fault even though economists widely agree his tariffs and war making are the key reasons why price pressures rose again since he returned to office.

What a surprise. I would have thought it was Hillary's fault. Kidding aside, inflation was coming down under Biden and has been trending upward since Trump took office. Worse, long term interest rates have gone up under Trump.
