"The Trump administration has approved a $2.8 billion sale of heavy bombs to Israel, according to a U.S. official, in what would be among the largest deliveries of U.S. munitions there even as American public support for the country declines."

I don’t believe the U.S. taxpayer should continue to arm Netanyahu’s government with deadly military equipment.

I believe Netanyahu is a war criminal and that his government has committed genocide in Gaza.

This doesn't make me antisemitic. (I’m Jewish, by the way.)

US law requires recipients to use US-supplied weapons in ways consistent with international humanitarian law. Israel’s slaughter of Palestinians has clearly violated IHL. It’s time to stop illegally fueling the killing.

For scale, a single US 2,000-pound bomb, with an estimated crater size of 50 feet, was used by Israel in the Jabalia refugee camp airstrike that killed at least 126 civilians, including 69 children, on 31 October 2023, according to Airwars.

Good thing there’s no US munitions shortage
The $2.8 billion package, which would be purchased with U.S. taxpayer dollars, includes 40,000 bombs that weigh 2,000 pounds each, including 20,000 MK-84s and 20,000 BLU-117s. The sale also includes 20,000 I-2000 Penetrator warheads.
But some of y’all stayed home instead of voting for Harris.

@kamalaharris.com would not have approved these 40,000 one-ton bombs. What's happening to Gaza and to Lebanon right now would not be happening if she had been elected. Leftists must acknowledge this and they must acknowledge that they do not protest Trump like they do Democrats.

No one in America, no one, is as easy a political mark as the spoiled Leftist trust fund babies on so-called "elite" campuses and the Leftist faculty on their campuses who enabled them in their protests against Biden & Harris & their silence on Trump.

While the majority of Americans, including many young Republicans, demand an end to aid to Israel, the Trump Administration is sending the Israeli military $2.8 billion of taxpayer funded bombs.

This is why so many Americans believe our political and economic system is broken.

Don’t believe the lies. Trump is *not* selling $2.8 billion of bombs for Israel’s genocide.

It’s worse.

Trump is *giving away* $2.8 billion of bombs for Israel’s genocide. American taxpayers are paying for those bombs.

"controversial" is a euphemism.
Note that in two articles today, WaPo describes a "sale" of bombs to Israel. This is extremely misleading. The reported $2.bn package is 100% funded by US taxpayers via the Foreign Military Financing grants for Israel to buy US weapons.
