Very encouraged to see so many countries coming together to call for mandatory pre-deployment testing & independent evaluation; global coordination on common standards; the creation of an intergovernmental organization; and other critical actions to mitigate the major risks of frontier AI.

Very encouraged to see so many countries coming together to call for mandatory pre-deployment testing & independent evaluation; global coordination on common standards; the creation of an intergovernmental organization; and other critical actions to mitigate the major risks of frontier AI.
I'm not suggesting that this will save the day, but indications that at least some people on both sides are interested in at least managing the risk a major crisis precipitated by AI is a positive development.
