Brent crude fell below $100 a barrel Friday as traders anticipated a release of European diesel reserves, while European countries discussed measures to address high fuel prices.
Among the notable price moves early this morning, Brent crude oil has joined WTI in trading below $100 a barrel (with WTI itself declining below $90).
As regards refined products, the national average price for diesel in the US has fallen to $6.37 a gallon.
