How nice for them. Next question: which act of Congress authorized this expenditure of federal funds? Quaint it may be, but our constitution forbids drawing funds from the treasury except pursuant to acts of congress.
Relative got a $500 check from US Treasury and a shocking letter full of lies signed by Trump and ending with "May God bless you". Basically a pre-electoral bribe. News reports say they're sending almost a million of these. Full text in alt below. (I told him to cash it quick before it bounces.)

The authoritarian caved. Still, every Republican on the ballot bears responsibility for his authoritarian use of the taxpayers' money to promote himself. It only happened because they've enabled him for years.

One of these was literally a Trump 2024 campaign ad. The only difference is that it now says "paid for by the US government"
