German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said the CDU would seek to lower electricity tax to the EU minimum for all households, aiming to rebuild trust after its leadership meeting.
Just a thought, a potential winning strategy for 🇩🇪‘s CDU-SPD coalition would be to cut income tax and increase wealth tax
I have no dog in this fight, but it's not like there is no evidence for mobility. Two things:
1. Not all evidence is of course equally good, which is an important debate.
2. Even if mobility is significant, one can still justify wealth taxation, especially as a way of internalising the negative
