Given the British public overwhelmingly consider Brexit has been a failure, the key argument Rejoiners need to defeat is the "That's not my Brexit" defence.

This shouldn't actually be too hard an argument to defeat: we got *more* than the Brexit we were promised, and a large part of the electorate voted in December 2019 for a government that delivered it - the deal was oven-ready - while Nigel Farage stood down his candidates against the Conservatives.

The space between 'Tony Blair: the UK rejoining should be on the condition of EU reform' and the reality of top-down EU accession talks where a candidate country is the recipient of lots of scrutiny and demands is not yet factored in the 'rejoin/Breturn' debate.

George Monbiot explains why the UK should rejoin the EU,

"There's a reason why Russia tried to intervene in the Brexit vote, they knew that it would harm the UK and the EU if we left"

"They were very clear about that and boy have they been proved right"

In any re-join conversation, the UK will have to stop navelgazing about issues like free movement and treat European integration as now being fundamentally an issue of national security in an age in which it is sandwiched between Russia, other autocraties, and an unreliable, even hostile, US.

Britain can't have sustainable growth in every town without confronting Brexit NOW. More courage is needed from Burnham who was billed as being able to walk on water.

Defeatism among political leaders about having conversations about the EU because they don’t know how to “sell” free movement demonstrates just how naive these leaders are about Britain’s future in a post-Atlanticist world.

I was told that Andy Burnham is a magician by my MP when she resigned to get Starmer out. Let's see some of that magic.

2033 is simply not good enough for a host of reasons. See film on EU TUBE.

Interesting to see Lord Frost warning there’s a real possibility of the UK rejoining the EU unless Brexiteers get their act together and make the argument against.
