Many states (like Ohio, or Kansas) over the last 18 months have repealed their "grace periods," meaning that ballots that arrive after Election Day will not count even if they were sent well in advance.
That happened as we knew USPS would have major delays.

There are now 642k Texans who have early voted who did not vote at all in the 2024 Presidential election. 48% of them (310,997) are Hispanic. And 39% (122,461) of those Hispanic surge voters are under the age of 30.

In the 2024 presidential election, Republican Lexington county (where Darline Graham lives), had 81% of the votes of Democratic Richland County next door. in early voting this year, it has only 57% of the votes. Now I expect that difference to narrow bc Rs vote on election day. But by how much?

At R+0.4, the total early vote in the state is about as blue as 2018, 5 points higher than this point in 2022, and 10 points higher than in 2024.
