We saw what happened with ACX: we went from audiobooks where you could get up to 90% royalty on a sliding scale, to—the moment they achieved market dominance—a flat 40%, for books that have incredibly high production costs not fronted by Amazon.

The fact that I keep getting emails trying to promise me that they are making their "voice replica narration" terms better & better for narrators tells me that the pressure & the anger are having an impact.
