Yesterday afternoon I discovered a piliated woodpecker making a hole in a tree, and after a couple hundred shots, got one that made me very happy, because it illuminated his orange eye and red cheek stripe. I may see him again if he likes that location. #BirdsSeenIn2025 #birds #florida #photography
