Light hits the bottom of the rock stacks on the right while those on the left are in dark shadow. The gap between the rocks is not straight but curves out like a big tummy in parallel, leaving a glimpse of the sea. Sky is blue and sea is a calm blue-grey.

Photograph of a pile of rocks made into a head (glue must have been used in places) with an old crock lid as a tam o shanter. Other rocks with a frown or eye indentations. The garden was full of these funny sculptures. Wonderful surprise to find these on a wander.

Possibly my favourite beach in #DumfriesAndGalloway 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, mainly because it's hidden beyond another beach, and takes a 40 mins walk to get to. Which is why I usually have it to myself like today.
