Been working on making some homemade recycled paper the past few days. I got into paper making last spring (and apparently it's a spring time activity for me). It's a lot of fun!! More tedious crafts for Topsy. #papermaking

Something I really enjoy is making handmade paper at home. It adds another interesting, tactile dimension to relief prints. Here is some I made with some dried hydrangea blossoms, and a wood block print of a cat skull.

Junk mail, packaging, misprints, and old files have all gone into these sheets of handmade paper. It's so interesting to see these random bits of paper blend together to create new sheets.

I love when an idea comes together! I tried papermaking for the first time a couple weekends back with a waste paper pulp, and today I used some of the paper to print tetrapak drypoints. A 100% recycled, 100% handmade outcome. Makes me very happy 🥲
